ITRA forum: We were ‘pressured into buying’

“We were given free accommodation to encourage purchase a when moved in told we had to pay for it if we didn't  purchase at the end of the accommodation if we didn't sign up.

Real timeshare stories brought to you by ITRA

"Only told after we had taken up the free offer. Told it was an investment that we could pass on to our children.
Told it would be cheaper than a package holiday. Told it was easy to exchange through RCI. Given free accommodation and flight vouchers to encourage sign up.
Every time we refused they came back with a cheaper option, i.. Bi-annual agreement. Every time we have used our apartment we have been pestered and pressured up upgrade.
We were pressured into purchasing and believe we were mis-sold and that the bi-annual agreement with perpetuity is not fir for the purpose for which it was intended. We have never been able to exchange through RCI and have lost a week’s accommodation through inflexibility”.
